Primitive video manager Alan Hannon treats us to the latest behind-the-scenes episode of Primitive's 'Encore' video.
This latest instalment, titled 'That's just Franky' focuses on team rider Franky Villani and is articulately narrated by team mate Wade Desarmo. The 24 year old from Santa Ana is the 'wild card' on the Primitive team and is a special talent to be appreciated. Franky, who previously rode for Zero, also currently rides for Spitfire Wheels, Thunder trucks and New Balance. He always has a smile on his face and you cannot help but warm to his infectious personality. With his multi coloured wheels he attacks some of the biggest skate spots, looks like he is always having fun and makes everything he does look cool. Wade's praise for Franky is very fitting and he narrates the part perfectly, describing how talented he is and how important it is to have a character like him on the team. Franky is also touted as the kind of person that gets everyone else hyped to skate.
His creative approach to everything he does shines through into his skateboarding and his team have a lot of love for him. He is a stand out gem in a much filled skateboarding treasure chest with all the great content we have been treated to from Primitive.
Franky, like the title of the video suggests, is just being himself and he epitomises what skateboarding is all about. Having fun.
