Black Arrow FC have been ever active in helping with racial inequality as they continue to bring interesting projects to light for the community. They have now released a beautifully shot short film in collaboration with MLS Soccer team The Los Angeles Galaxy. The film features Chocolate Skateboards team rider Hakeem Ducksworth and documents his journey from the streets of Compton to becoming a professional skateboarder.
The clips shows Hakeem skating his local park in Compton and hanging out with friends as he explains how his positive experiences and progression in skateboarding can be an inspiration and avenue for many other kids in Compton.
Hakeem sports the famous Los Angeles Galaxy football shirt and takes in his first game at the Dignity Health Sports Park Stadium, whilst also meeting USA Soccer legend Cobi Jones.
In a statement on their Instagram Black Arrow FC said, "Big up to the LA Galaxy for greenlighting this project and the all-black creative team for having the vision. So much dopeness coming out of Compton right now - it's an honour to help all these stories as black folks show the world, we have no limits."
