Photographer Pete Thompson has had a career spanning three decades in which he has worked for Transworld Skateboarding Magazine, Skateboarder Magazine and Slap. His work is most notably recognised for his portfolio from the golden era of skateboarding in the 90's, shooting many amazing skateboarders and events from the time. Pete's career moved on from skateboarding in the early 2000's however he is still heavily involved in the photography industry.
This week it was confirmed Pete is releasing a 250-page book titled '93 'til' which is made up of a vast collection of photographs which have been buried away in storage until now. Pete is also teaming up with DGK to release an awesome collaboration deck containing images of Stevie Williams from back in the 'golden era.'
The decks will be of limited supply so get in there quick if you don't want to miss out!

Been working on this project for more than a year now. “93til” is a photo book that chronicles 13yrs of my life working as a photographer for @transworldskate and @slap_pals through the 90’s. Yes, there are plenty of photos of skateboarders doing cool shit, but the book also includes lots of never before seen portraits and in-between moments that capture the culture and vibe of skating in the 90’s (all shot on film 🎞) This is a personal project that I’m very proud to have the chance to show anyone who might be interested. The photo here is of the rough draft “dummy” version. The actual hard-cover book will be avail in stores and online spring of 2020. . . Big thanks to everyone who took time to sit down and chat with me, contributed quotes, offered advice, as well as those who continue to be supportive. Super excited to get this out there and show a little history from a bygone era of skateboarding ♥️🙌🏽 . For more throwback skateboarding photos follow me at @switch_360_judo
