The Wu Tang Clan have been known to have a long-standing affinity with martial arts and now rapper and producer RZA has dropped a song inspired by late Kung Fu legend Bruce Lee. The collaboration is in conjunction with ESPN's The Undefeated series '30 for 30' for the recently released documentary on the actor and martial arts master.
Many songs by the Wu Tang feature references and sound bites from vintage Martial Arts movies and RZA (real name Bobby Diggs) has always been a huge fan of Lee's movies such as 'Enter the Dragon.' The song is titled "Be Like Water" which was possibly Bruce Lee's most famous metaphor and quote back in 1971 from a TV Series called 'Longstreet,' "Be formless, shapeless, like water."
RZA stated for The Undefeated, "As a kid you imagine yourself in a movie. To be part of the culture and someone who is allowed to create elements of that culture, it's a blessing. A young Bobby Diggs definitely would've only seen it as imagination."
